Meet Chandler Beard of Company

Chandler Beard grew up in Minden, LA and now lives in Monroe.  She rotates through a variety of creative outlets including, but not limited to, watercolor painting, playing the ukulele, taking naps, organizing junk drawers while binging a crime podcast, and reading.  After making her theatre debut at Strauss earlier this year, she couldn’t wait for the next season to get involved again.  She’s honored to play Amy and is so excited to help take on the task of presenting this complicated and beautiful show with the cast.  She’s previously been seen as Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense (Strauss Theatre Center).

If you’re quick, for a kick, you can pick up your tickets to Company and witness Chandler’s performance of “Getting Married Today” as Amy.  Tickets can be purchased online at our ticket site or by calling the box office at 318-323-6681.

What Would We Do Without Dance Rehearsal?

The cast of our upcoming production of Company hit the dance studio for their first taste of “What Would We Do Without You?” with choreographer Taylor Nelson.  In this number, the couples proclaim their love for Robert as their closest friend in an over-the-top dance number.  Robert quickly becomes overwhelmed by the smothering affection and tries his best to hide from the good and crazy people, his married friends.

Special thanks to SYAA for allowing us to use their dance studio for rehearsal!  Our cast greatly appreciated it.

Are you excited to see the final show of our 90th season?  Well, good news!  Tickets for Company are already on sale!  Visit our ticketing site to get a good seat for a fantastic production.
