Meet Cassey Bernstein of Company

Cassey Bernstein is from Alton, IL and currently lives in Calhoun, LA.  She is an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager for Berry Global in Monroe.  She wants to thank everyone for coming to see this show.  She is so proud to be a part of this outstanding artistic community.  Some of her favorite roles include Sister Mary Downy in Disaster! (Strauss Theatre Center), Female Actress in Baskerville (Strauss), and Lucy in I Love Lucy to Death (Murder Is Served).

Meet Sam Coleman of Company

Sam Coleman is from Monroe, Louisiana and has appeared in the television series Lodge 49 and the upcoming film Room 203.  He says this play was an unexpected opportunity, and he’s very glad for it.  Some of his prior onstage credits include Mahmoud in Sixteen Wounded (CA Studio), Judd Fry in Oklahoma! (Ruston Community Theatre), and Nick Carraway in The Great Gatsby (CA Studio).

Meet Abby Thomas of Company

Abby Thomas is making her Strauss debut.  Originally from Pineville, LA, she now resides in Monroe.  She works full-time as the Coordinator of Campus Tours at the University of Louisiana Monroe.  She is also working part-time towards her Masters in English so, one day, she can move abroad and teach ESL.  Both theater and music have always been a large part of her life.  After having over a three-year hiatus, she is so thankful to have the opportunity to be back on the stage doing what she loves.  Some her previous credits include Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof (Pineville High), Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie (ULM), and Rizzo in Grease (Pineville High).

Meet Danielle Kelley Tolbird of Company

Danielle Kelley Tolbird is a Zachary, LA native and currently lives in West Monroe.  She works for ULM in the Office of Marketing and Communications.  She believes that the arts community in Northeast Louisiana is so warm and welcoming, and she’s so grateful for everyone involved!  Danielle has previously been seen in the Chorus for Nice Work If You Can Get It (Strauss Theatre Center).

Meet Kylie Daigle of Company

Kylie Daigle is originally from Walker, LA and currently lives in Monroe, LA.  She is a Recruiter at ULM where she graduated in May 2021 with a degree in Communication.  She is so excited to finally be making her debut at Strauss 2 long years after COVID shut the world, and the theatrical season, down.  This show is so special, and she loves that she gets to be a part of it!  Some of her prior theatre credits include Alice Beineke in The Addams Family (ULM), Rosemary in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Strauss Theatre Center), and Meg Giry in The Phantom of the Opera (ULM).

Meet Kevin Keeler of Company

Kevin Keeler is making his Strauss debut.  Originally from Haughton, LA, he currently resides in West Monroe.  He is the Assistant Director of Bands at Ouachita Parish High School.  He is excited to jump back into theatre since the pandemic started!  His favorite past roles include Princeton in Avenue Q (The Studio Theatre), Matt in bare: a pop opera (The Weekend Theatre), and Leaf in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (LA Tech).

Meet Jessalyn Porét of Company

Jessalyn Porét is from New Orleans, LA and now lives in Monroe.  She works for Lumen and also likes to cross-stitch, stream video games on Twitch, and write (she has a self-published book on Amazon).  She’s excited to be back participating in the theatre again.  She missed her theatre family!  You may recognize her from her previous roles as Sister Mary Patrick in Sister Act (Strauss Theatre Center) and Agnes in Who’s in Bed with the Butler? (Strauss).

Meet Taylor Michiels of Company

Taylor Michiels is originally from Pineville, LA and currently lives in Monroe.  He is a Marketing Analyst for Lumen.  He is honored to be a part of this show to celebrate Sondheim’s legacy.  He’s previously been seen as Tony Delvecchio in Disaster! (Strauss Theatre Center), Taylor in Godspell (Strauss), and Eddie in Mamma Mia! (Strauss).

Meet Nicole Goode of Company

Nicole Goode is a Monroe native.  She has two part-time jobs, working at Kohl’s Department Store and at the Ouachita Parish Public Library in Genealogy/Special Collections.  She is so excited to be back onstage with this great cast.  She’s previously been seen as June Sanders in Smoke on the Mountain (Strauss Theatre Center) and Shirley Summers in Disaster! (Strauss).

Meet Benjamin McQuillin of Company

Benjamin McQuillin is from Monroe.  He loves to make people laugh and anything to do with coffee, Dungeons and Dragons, or musicals!  He couldn’t be more thrilled to be doing another Sondheim show; he’s proud to continue his legacy here at the Strauss Theatre Center.  Some of his previous roles include Jack in Into the Woods (ULM), Chad in Disaster! (Strauss Theatre Center), and Mark in RENT (ULM).
