My first experience with theater happened right here on the Strauss stage just 4 years ago, when my wife and I both tried out for, and got roles in, the play Southern Hospitality. It was such an amazing experience to work with Strauss veterans such as Troy Wold, Brenda Rowan, Wendy Wilson, and many others. They were all extremely welcoming and supportive of me, and we all bonded right away. From that point on I was hooked! I went on to do a couple of dinner theater shows, had a small role in The Producers, followed by bigger roles in Rumors and The 39 Steps. Last fall I took on my biggest role to date, Igor in the musical Young Frankenstein. Not only has theatre introduced me to a lot of great people, it’s pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me to grow as a performer and an individual. It’s been life-changing! I’m looking forward to working with another great cast in Who’s in Bed With the Butler?, where I play a detective who is a bit of a bumbling idiot… the perfect role for me! Hope to see you all there; I promise you will laugh your tail off!
