Micaela Jolly in Godspell

I first listened to Godspell when I started doing musical theatre at the age of 11. Six years later, it remains my all time favorite show. A powerful and fun story about love and unity told through the Biblical parables we’ve grown up with, it truly is a show that the whole family can enjoy and learn from. One of the most captivating aspects of the show for me is the music. It conveys so much emotion, ranging from joyful to completely solemn. My song “Bless the Lord” celebrates the love of Christ and what he’s done for us, and I hope the audience is able to feel the same energy that the moment exudes. It really is something special, and I’m excited to finally bring to life the show that made me fall in love with the world of theatre.
