WHO RUNS STRAUSS?

WHO RUNS STRAUSS?
YOU run Strauss, that is, if you are a member.  You help select the board, you let us know what you want by direct contact and by ticket sales.  Some of you serve on committees and on the board; many of you help make the magic that is live theatre by appearing on stage or by working back-stage and off-stage, another example of the volunteer nature of community theatre.

Strauss Actor Shonice Saint-Jean

My first experience occurred last year. It was the Sister Act auditions and a few of my cast-mates from Dreamgirls sent out a group message about auditioning for the production.  I had never seen or heard of Strauss Theatre since I’m not from Monroe, and I wasn’t prepared. It was such short notice, but I had a feeling I should go. Once I got there, I encountered such a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was so nice!  So, my friends and I auditioned to be in the show.
